My daily rate is $800 and is assessed on 7 hours of photographic time.
Otherwise, for jobs less than a full day, I bill at $125 an hour.
These fees include all production (photographic activities) and post-production (editing activities) related to your project.
- Know that the above rates are subject to revision for all non-standard image use requests and or when image copyright is requested. Also, pre-production work is billed separately (see below).
Please contact the studio with any questions that you might have?
Pre-Production Work
Upfront, you will need to provide an accurate shot list with a defined scope of work for your project as well as your intent for image distribution. I am happy to work with your Project Coordinator or a relevant Art Director to ensure the accuracy of this information as it could affect project pricing.
If you do not have a shot list or have not defined your image deliverables, I am happy to help you organize and manage your photography project. I typically bill separately at a rate of $125 an hour for Pre-Production services and will work to define these costs up front and build them into your quote.
Should you require studio time, equipment rental, models or any additional line items for your project; each item will be quoted in excess of my daily fee at relevant industry rates.
Know that under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976, photographs are protected by copyright from the moment of creation by the photographer. Thus, unless you have permission from the photographer, you cannot copy, distribute (no scanning and sending them to others), publicly display (no putting them online), or create derivative works from photographs; this includes all offline (printed and electronic) and online (electronic) forms of the photography. Thus, when you hire a photographer to create work for you or your business entity, the photographer retains copyright and grants legal use(s) of the his/her imagery.
If you are unsure about how this might affect your project or have any related copyright or image use questions, feel free to contact the studio and we will provide clarity.
